Mr Ahmed-Ramadan Sadek is a consultant neurosurgeon and spinal surgeon in London who specialises in complex spinal surgery. His areas of interest include spinal stenosis, sciatica, minimally invasive spinal surgery, and back and neck pain.
Mr Sadek completed the Sir Hugh Cairns combined orthopaedic and neurosurgical complex spinal fellowship at the Royal London Hospital. Prior to this he was an academic Walport trainee in Wessex. He held the Jason Brice Fellowship in Neurosurgical research during which he spent a year at the Universitatklinikum Bonn in Germany. He was awarded a doctorate in 2005 from the MRC Anatomical Neuropharmacology unit at the University of Oxford.
Mr Sadek has an academic interest in spinal pathology and has published over 30 research studies and numerous book chapters. His research has featured on the front cover of an international journal and he has presented his work at conferences globally.
Mr Sadek approaches spinal problems from all angles utilising the multidisciplinary approach to achieve the best possible results for patients. He works very closely with orthopaedic spinal surgeons, pain specialists and physiotherapists.
